I'm glad you got it figured out...

Do they lop at idle? I'm leaning toward them. Might be a little before I can get a turbo though...

 

No they dont at all. The best part, besides the power increase, is it smoothed out the idle tremendously and in doing that, its a little quieter. I can actually have a conversation standing next to it while its running instead of a yelling match.

Where'd you get (haha, not really- order) your turbo from?

 

HA yeah its well worth it in my opinion. My juice is tapped and I haven't seen egt's above 1300. Hopefully once I get that turbo on it will drop down even further. I got the turbo from Chris at Engineered Diesel. He builds them to order and he's real good at settin you up with somethin that fits your style of drivin as well i.e. towing, racing, stoplight champ, . . aside from not having my turbo after 3 months I've been more than happy with the service.
