Low Power

Hey guys, just a question for you. Have a friend with a 2001 3500 HO 6spd 4.10 rear and dynoed 370hp and 980tq with a afe cold air intake, BD super B turbo, 3 piece manifold, 4" turbo back exhaust, 130hp injectors, BD pusher pump kit, edge juice with attitude. Seems low on the numbers? The truck will pull harder on every level from stock to 3, then no difference on 4 or 5. Any ideas on why they would be low like this? Also on WOT run, cannot get egt over 1050.

TIA

Bad injection pump maybe.

Why complain about low egt's?

Not complaining about low egts, just that the truck seems to be putting down alot less power than others with the same thing. Just curious to see if anybody had any ideas about it.

Where is the pyro mounted? Those numbers seem low even for just injectors and no comp.

The pyro is right in the manifold in front of the turbo, so it should be accurate. I will get him to check the tap on the pump as well. Also, when we installed all of the mods and the juice and hooked up the fuel psi sensor, he was only at 4 psi at idle, and soon as you touched the throttle it dropped right to 0. Who knows how long it had been running like that. Could that also have damaged the pump enough that it could not put out the fuel it should?
