Love my Skyjunker lift
Today I broke another bolt on one of the drop down brackets for my 4.5" Skyjunker lift. The bolt I broke today is the one on the track bar drop down bracket below the oil pan on the frame cross member. This is the third bolt that has broken on this lift. The previous two were the bolt that is the main support of the track bar drop bracket where the stock track bar would go in the frame(now that is welded). Keep in mind that I don't pound my truck because I am so scared that my front axle with rip right out of my truck if I hit a speedbump. It broke when I was backing a trailer into my shop so nothing was damaged. Gotta love my Skyjacker lift! Eric

Since I had no intentions of doing anything else to my truck, I welded that POS drop down bracket to the frame... and put lots of welds on the bolt too...

Thats the spirit trooper!!! I only have two tools in my shop, the fire wrench and the electric bolt. Just kidding but i do alot of welding of componants that are only supposed to be bolted. Its almost as easy to just cut them off when you need to as it is to unbolt them. That goes for my junkers though. I dont do it to my "nice" vehicles, what ever they are....
