Looking for a posi or locker for my front and rear end
I have 98' Ram 2500 12v and I want to put a locker or something in my front and rear end for true 2wd or 4wd. Does anyone have an opinion on this or experience?

I would run an ARB in the front and up grade the front outter axles to 35 spline. Run full manual hubs at least.

There is a liquid graphite called "Bike Aid". I get it at a bicycle shop.

Posi is nearly invisible up front in 2wd unless it has stout preload since most of the lockup in a clutch type posi is from side gear deflection which there is none in 2wd.
Lunchbox lockers (lock rights etc.) that replace the spiders and sometimes the side gears are also invisible in the front in 2wd with the exception of if you lock up one tire in a skid. Then you will hear it ratchet. When you go into 4x, you'll feel the pull of the locker pretty good tho. Backing up it'll try and steer you around in 4x.
The one that is BAD BAD mojo in the front on ice and slick roads is the full case detroit. There are huge springs that need to wind up to open the ratchet. These springs wind up and release making things interesting on slick surfaces. This unloading will take place in the front as long as the hubs are in, regardless of transfer case engagement.
Any ratchet type locker will handle funky in the rear axle, but the traction is incomparable. For daily driving and towing they aren't the best choice. Selectable in the rear is very nice.
Simple transfer case vac switch bypass is required (or any other CAD disabling feature) to run ANY traction control up front except a selectable locker.
