line x
ive got rust spots forming down along my rocker pannal and i want to take care of them before they get to bad. I am also in and out of fields all the time and gravel roads so the area is pretty badly chipped up. What are some of my options about taking care of this.
It was suggested to me to go to this line x shop in town that has a good reputation and see what he said. He made me a qoute of 950 in the fall when he is not busy. This was all the rocker pannals coming up to the the couple of creases in the body. What you think about this?
Additionally any pictures would be greatly appraciative. Ive got a silver dodge.
Thanks Rob

I'd go with Line-X - I have both, and it's a better product.
You can save a lot of coin if you DIY.
EDIT
OOPS! Sorry guys - just stepped out of the office to check - Rhino (
) on the '05... Line-X on the '98 has withstood mucho abuse for almost a decade! Gotta be careful with the Rhino so you don't gouge/peel it off.

On rocker panels I'd consider Rhino Liner, but overall I'm not impressed with it. One truck at work has a Rhino in the bed and its amazing how easily it can be gouged. Granted the secret for any spray on is in the prep and it doesn't look like ours was prepped well, but its not coming off in sheets. It should not cut as easily as it has been. Heard alot of good about LineX holding up to this kind of abuse. No matter which way you go make sure its prepped right before its sprayed or it'll come off. Most places cut corners here.
