Help Me Build A Pullin Motor

Ok everyone, I'm tired of just going to the pulls and watching everyone else, so I've decided to build a truck. I am going to start by building a motor, and then build the rest of the truck around it. I have some ideas brewing in my head about what I want to do, but I would like to hear some of your guys' ideas before I start my build. All I know for sure right now is that I will be starting with a bare block, it will be P-pumped, and I'm looking for 800-850 horse at the wheels. Also, the trans. will be an NV4500 so any ideas for that, as well as clutches will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and I'm thinkin this is going to be fun, lol.

The BBD motor is a pretty nice setup.... I would add balancing the rotating assembly, girdle, water injection, adjustable cam gear, and different turbos. I have ran the stoopid pump and it is a good unit but personally feel there are better options for an injection pump build.

Right now the plan is to use an ISB block as the foundation. I will also be using an ISB crank and rods. It will get fly-cut and coated marine pistons, along with a p-pump and a 12 valve head for sure. That's all I really know right now. My main question is how much does the compression really drop with the marine pistons? Also, how much more boost will I be able to ram in with the compression drop? Thanks.
