Limits of BHAF

Ive had a BHAF for 45k miles and is getting pretty dirty. Ive always wanted an afe stg 2 but would I notice any difference at my level of hp? When does the BHAF fade out and the need for a more free flowing filter arise? I hope to have ddp 2's and a BD super B by end of summer.

The BHAF should be able to support your modifications if you like it. I have seen well into the 450+ hp range with the BHAF with no ill effects.

I did 453 with a BHAF. Once I get the head ringed and bolted down, I might do one last dyno with the current setup before the twins go on. I'd like to see what its capable of.

I figured that the BHAF would support my mods fine, I was just wondering if there was much to gain from a $450 intake or if my $40 BHAF was up to the task its just new filter time. Is fleet filter still the cheapest place to get a new BHAF?

Just made 533 with a BHAF. However, my egts hit 1700 degrees on the dyno(probably from the insane fuel from the adrenaline).
