Lift pump update
Lift pump update
I was wondering since i havent been on the site in over a year whats the scoop on pusher lift pumps with Holleys . I know a year or maybe longer everyone was using Cater pumps. What happened ? Did they change there pumps? I did several searches and all i came up with is Holley pushers. I had a Holley i used as a pusher back a year or so ago and it lasted 4-5 months and quit. I looked at some of the other pumps like the new Fass 95 i think its called. Any input on them. My truck was bought new and since have replaced 5 lifts and one injector pump. and one Holley pusher. One idea that i have though about is running a bipass regulator so the pump will run all the time and biapass back to tank ,this way it will cool . Has anyone tried the biapass regulator setup?
Well, the FASS is so far proving itself. Haven't heard of any significant failures except for Haulin in Dixie had the brushes in his go out. I haven't heard anything on the new RASP system. I've got a holley blue on mine and after 6 months it's holding 15 at idle and 12 at WOT with a comp. So far it's either a holley by itself or a FASS. Scotty came out with a max flow kit that is a tremendous help for the stock lift pump and I highly recommend it.
Blue , How you been man.
Have you tapped that wire yet?
Anyone got a link to Scotty. Another question i have is what happened to WildCat Performance ? I was doing some searching through my old favz and there MIA.

Been doing pretty good hot bout yourself? This is my second comp. Had to sell the first one. I haven't tapped the wire on this one and I don't plan to until I get the tranny built up which should hopefully be end of summer. I got a set of 275 injectors on their way and they should be here tomorrow hopefully. Wildcat shut down because rod couldn't afford to keep it open any longer. With ebay selling more and more stuff for dirt cheap, he just couldn't afford to keep the shop open anymore. He also had some personal business to attend to.
Good here also , well im lying to ya anything and everything has went bad for me. My father passed and several other family members so i have been out of the loop you could say trying to get things done and havent had much time to mess with the truck.
So is there any Rods Pods look alikes that anyone is making. I was going to buy one of the types you cut the dash bezel and gauges sit on top. Guess i will have to make one. Too many gauges and not enough room .

I can make ya one. I whipped up a 4 gauge pillar pod for mine. Took an existing 3 gauge and made it hold 4. Got pics in my gallery. I know how ya feel about the family. I just lost my aunt mary to cancer and I'm waiting for my grandpa to pass on. He's had 3 heart attacks already. I hope everything is going better for you.

I checked the website and it mentions custom guage pods, but doesn't show any pics or pricing.
