I've had the silverstars in for some night driving now. Compared to the Flossers the SS's shine out farther but not as wide. The SS's are whiter and more closely match my Walmart Fog Lights. I would be happy with either bulb if the Flosser bulb didn't burn out. Still happy with my purchases. Several Rainy days here and no moisture inside the housing but that may not appear until summertime if at all. The housings have spiffed up the front of my truck and the whole combo has made night driving nicer for me.

They are just different sizes and shapes of bulbs. 9004 is the stock size in a non-sport Ram, I assume the Flosser 9104 has the different "1" because they are 100 watt bulbs.

Just a 9004 bulb AFAIK. I don't think the 9104 is a special number other than its what Flosser calls it. A Google search doesn't return much else beside flosser for a 9104 bulb.

Same thing, different sizes and shapes. I think, not for sure, that one of the h #s might match up to like a 9007, but don't quote me on that

Another thing about the Flosser I noticed, but is probably apparent to most. At the end of a drive the Flosser equipped housing would be very warm to the touch, not so with the silverstar equipped housing.

haloman, you might of stated this and I may of missed it, but did you replace flossers with silverstars or silverstar ultras? I just recieved the harness from LMC today and will be installing this weekend.

I believe they are the ultras. Not the ones that have a blue tinge to them. They were like $40 bucks at Advance Auto.

Without the harness I would just buy some Silverstar Ultras, guys (inculding myself) have been having problems with the Flosser 9104. I would highly reccomend the harness either way.

You did it backwards - the harness is the more important piece of the puzzle.

I have the Flosser 100w and see just little difference from standard.
I just ordered the LMC harness and will see the results.

Follow his recommendation guys !!!!
