Leaf spring U-bolt thread size????
My traction bars will mount under the rear axle housing on the leaf spring u-bolts. I was trying to find a nut to fit and it seems they are 14mm with a SAE 18 count thread. W-T-F? I confirmed this with my thread pitch gauge from my tap and die set. 14mmx1.5 nut wouldn't thread on. 1.25 mm pitch was too small so I grabbed my SAE gauge and 18 fit perfect. Hmmmmmmm.

What size rod are our U-Bolts? You should be able to go to any shop that makes/carries U-Bolts and get the correct nut. As far as I know there is only one thread size for U-bolts....but I could be wrong.
