Just installed my "drag" comp

Install was easy as pie...I didnt tap the wire yet though. I ordered the VP plate from bluechip to make the install nice and clean. I thought it felt like my EZ but it does feel a little different, not sure how (it is probably in my head).

Wire will be tapped by tomorrow nigt. I will get some pics!

Also with the wire untapped only setting 1 works correct? and I can still use the sub sttings for smoke control?

All the settings will work with the wire untapped but they won't add any additional power. Just responsiveness. You won't notice the full effect of the comp until you hit 5x5. That's when you'll really notice it.

WOW

Thats all I can say really...I used the cover from Blue chip diesel and it really made the install clean and easy. Very Simple hook up. Even driving around on setting 2 the truck is really responsive...on 5x5 it is really fun and amazing.

I think I used a 1/8th tank of fuel in a very short trip.

A untapped Comp is like Pam Anderson with a chastity belt. Tap that wire! I used the BD Stealth Cover for mine, very similar to the Blue Chip.

I was really happy with the cover. I didnt want to mess around with pulling wires and soldering. This really simplified things.
