just installed FASS

I just installed the FASS 95/150 pump and wondering about getting rid of the stock fuel filter housing altogether. There are 2 elec. connections to the housing one I'm assuming is the water in fuel sensor and the other one I'm not to sure about ( fuel heater?) any way I would like to remove it to make room for a webasco heater and that would make a good location. If I do remove the housing will I have the "water in fuel" light on all the time and if so what would be the best way to rectifying this, pull a fuse? or loop the connection? thanks in advance.

Just take the whole thing off there. And no, you will not get any lights. You could cut off the connectors, but I left mine on there(I may sell the truck someday and return it to stock). HTH

What he said.

Might i make a suggestion: Seal the WIF plug in a bag or something to that effect. If you dont, when it rains water will soak the plug and the light will turn on....does in my truck when it rains real hard.....I just ignore it and it goes out after a bit.

Will not get any codes...or any that will pop the MIL that i have seen.
