jammer 3 black smoke

Hi I just installed jammer 3 nozzles I have a j/with att. I hit 40 lbs of boost and only small amount of black smoke on level 5.I thought it would smoke worst with the stock turbo does this sound right.

the threes dont realy smoke all that much it could be the vp44 not being able to keep up with the fueling. do you have a fuel pressure guage?

heck no i had the turbo on about 6 months after the edge box. i would strongly recommend getting a new turbo! 40psi is way high on a stock charger. do you have the hy-35 or hx-35? a lot of people i know notice less smoke with the hy. i had the hy and with a edge box on 5x5 it barely smoked at all because the spool was so fast. if your getting 40psi, have good fuel pressure and barely any smoke consider that a good thing that means your engine is running efficient. and if you want it to smoke disconnect the map sensor, by doing that it will fool your fuel system into thinking your truck is at 19psi and will fuel heavy but it mess's with your fueling curve so you loose power but it will lay out a huge cloud of smoke. cool for looks but ineffective. everything sounds fine with your set up but get a turbo ASAP!!
