ISSPRO fuel pressure gauge.

The other day my auto fuel pressure gauge went out on me so now I am going to get different gauages. I am going to get the isspro gauge package from diesel manor but i am not getting the isolator with the fuel pressure gauge. I was wounding what was needed to run the Isspro gauge with out the isolator.

Also who has sent in autometer gauges in for warranty work? If you have how long did it take both you got it back?

get di pricol gauges i have them and have had them for a really long time. they are a excelent gauge that look good and with the fuel pressure run a needle valve with some 1/8 inch fuel safe tubing and another pressure fit fitting to the back of the gauge. dodnt use a isolater that is probably why your gause went out. start the truck, close needle valve all the way then just crack until you see presure at the gauge. give garrett and pure diesel power a call. pm me for more info and pics

My dad should be ordering the gauges today for my birthday I told him not to get the isolator. Where would I be able to find a needle valve. The autometer failed because of the sending unit they sell with the gauge. I have had a friend that is on his thrid one right now, all of them were replace by autometer. I plan on selling the gauge when it gets back from autometer.

I've only done 2 full set-ups, mine and my dad's, and they were both Isspro's without isolators with the tubing kit from Diesel Manor. The easiest internet source for a needle valve I found from Vulcanperformance.com along with a 1/8" female/female connector to connect the tubing kit's male compression fitting to the male output of the needle valve. A female/female valve elliminates the need for that, but that's not what vulcan has. I have had a hard time finding a needle valve in local stores that comes with NPT ends, thay all want to put compression ends on them in sizes I don't want. You probably already have a hole in your firewall, just make sure its WELL protected now, real fuel and all. No need to bleed any air. Use Permatex #2 or similar to seal threads, not Pipe thread sealer in a tube like I did-it leaks. Cover the 1/8" tubing in 1/4" wire loom. crack the valve open just enough to get pressure readings at the gauge, too open and the needle may rattle, I've never had that happen with Isspros but some have.

If you've delt with isolators or electronic sending units, this will be breeze!

Vulcan is now selling an isolator. If it's like everything else Eric sell's it should be great. I've already got one that is working fine, but if I needed one I would try this one.

I didn't want to take a chance on running fuel into my cab, hence the isolator.

I second using Vulcan Eric is a stand up guy! its funny how some setups wont leak with out thread sealer and some will. mines been going for about two years going and i never used any thread sealer and mine has not leaked a drop! My gauge I mounted on the floor infont of the 4x4 shifter that way god forbid it leaks it wont fill my dash and other gauges full of diesel. If you need a photo i have one
