isspro fuel pressure gauge

I thought i read somewhere on here that when installing fuel pressure gauges, it was not nessecary to install the isolator? is there any truth to this. I just bought the nice set of isspros and I am planning on hooking them up one of these nights, and I just wanted to get the scoop. any other things I should be aware of? i read thru the instructions once, and I'm very mechanically skilled, just was hoping to get some helpfull hints from some of the "old pros" on the site

many like myself also use anti-freeze from the isolator into the truck to the gauge as an extra precaution to avoid diesel in the cab. Plus, it's not as dangerous.

To answer your question.... unless you mount the gauge outside the truck... you really should use a isolator.

What did you use for tubing to and from the isolator. I am having trouble getting accurate readings on my gauge. Any tips eliminating air would be appreciated.

After reading about all the problems people are having with the isolators I installed mine without one, used a needle valve instead. Pics, part no's tc in my gallery.
