Intake baffle '03

So what the scoop with this cross piece in the air intake tube ? Is it a performance enhancing thing or a noise supression thing ?

I haven't found anyone who can jump up and down, and say exactly what its for, but the safe money is on noise control. The baffle itself doesn't appear to help or hinder performance/EGT control in any way, at least at lower power levels (EZ type stuff). Rod

Thanks for the input Rod. Does the Scotty III use this piece ? Or does it come with a new tube that goes all the way from the turbo inlet to the air filter ?

We'll be offering an upgraded pipe in the future, for those who are concerned with visual appeal. Rod
