Re:Which intake?

Drawson no goon intended on the 12 valves especially you guys spinning them way up top like that but for the guys thare aren't using a governer spring kit I don't think they are moving the air, of course as always correct me if I am wrong?

Re:Which intake?

Jamie Attridge, I was just giving you alittle smoke to dela with no big deal. I don't believe there is much difference in air flow stock. After porting is where the 24 valve takes an advantage, which would really be helpful if they revved up like a 12 valve...
Re:Which intake?

Some question for Rod and all the users of the Scotty 2: Will a bugshield influence the results you see?
Reason I ask is that when I adjusted BavarianRam's AFC I noticed that his bugshield really works and deflects the majority of bugs (About 95% less bugs on the same stretch of road, not counted ;D ) This indicates to me that a: The bugshield works and b: The aerodynamics of the front is changed significantly.

Really interested in a bugshield and a Scotty

AlpineRAM

Re:Which intake?

I have run two bug shield on my truck with the Scotty systems and the Scotty works as avertised. The bug shield on the other hand doesn't take care of the bugs like I wish it would.

I would like to develop an electonic deflector screen to zap them bugs before they got to the windshield and grill. I did some testing on this last year and noticed that the Mopar bug deflector didn't seem to make any difference at any speed, however the Lund stainless deflector (the type that mount between the grill and hood) I had on my 01 would reduce the effectiveness of the Scotty by about 20F at cruise speeds of 50 MPH. Past 50 mph, there didn't appear to be any difference at all.

Rod
