Installing pyrometer probe.
Did mine 2 nights ago, started with a small bit and drilled almost all of the way thru, then moved to the final drill hole size. I stopped just before the bit was to break thru and then started the engine. I drilled slow for the last bit making sure to keep the drill straight. The mainfold is made of soft metal and very easy to drill thru. Breaking off a bit is highly unlikely unless you are really unfamilar with a drill.
Chances are the bit would be held in the hole by the exhaust pressure anyway and not pushed thru the turbo.

Question?? I you guys put the pyro before the turbo,,Has anyone heard of the tip breaking off the sensor and going thru the turbo?? If it was post turbo it would just go down the exhaust,,Of Course I dont know if they are known for breaking or not I am just asking cause I am getting ready to install one myself...
