#0 Fuel Plate installed! WOW!!!

So I finally got around to it today since the weather was half decent. Finally got out the break off screw with a little help from Mr. Chisel... and got the AFC opened up, really nothing to it IMO. Pulled the plate, threw it on the ban saw, then onto the Bridgeport, and then I polished it...because I have that much time on my hands...

I know ya'll are gonna flame because I don't have the trans built yet, but I'm taking it easy on it, and it was rebuilt 20k miles ago, so the clutches should be fresh. This thing haulllllsss, my buddy with a PSD got a ride in it and he couldn't believe the response it has, he couldn't believe how much faster this thing was than his truck now.

The guages looked good, all but tranny temp. My EGT's never got higher than 1100* or so, and bosst never past 31-32 PSI, but I did notice some turbo bark once or twice...How bad is this?

I'm looking for a shift kit, and a billet TC right now, but the TC could be a few weeks before I can afford it. Like I said, I'll keep my foot out of it too much. But if you were on the brink of doing this because of the weather, do it anyways, I spent about an hour and a half in the 25* weather here and it was soooo worth it. I'd have done it if it took twice that long. The smoke is easily controlable with your foot, and so is the power. Greatest look on my buddies face I have seen since he signed the divorce papers ...

My other buddy is buying a Duramax this week, so I'm gonna wait til I get my trans beefed up before I run him WOT, he had a gasser, but when I showed him this thing he went to the dealership and asked if he could trade in his 06 Sierra 1500 in on an 07 Silverado 2500 D-Max...he really wanted the Dodge but couldn't get 0% Financing on it, I tried telling him it was worth the extra cash, but he can't swing it at this point. So time will tell how long it takes to convert him.

Sounds like you're a bad influence on your buddies. Keep up the good work.
