Hello, i posted on this forum a while back about locking hubs for a
2001 dodge ram 3500. I recive a couple of answers from dyantrac but, found 1 post from a company that was around $1200. does any one have any info on this ?? THANKS, jr

You could find a D60 out of a Ford and put it in. Lockable hubs, serviable bearings, high pinion, 1-piece axle shafts. Those go for anywhere from $500-$1500. Most are gonna be $1k+. Lance D did this in his truck.
I agree. put a Ford F350 axle in it. I got mine for 800 bucks, and sold my stock dodge dana 60 for 800 to a guy with a 1/2 ton ram that was upgrading. so all I really spent was money for brake lines, misc. bolts and the brackets off a Dana 44
Lance, any preferred years to get from? Also, were any driveshaft mods/ oddball Ujoints required?
How did you locate the D44 brackets, make a jig off the old Axle and then put the Furd one in place?
Also, were the track widths and steering hookup the same?
Sorry for all the Q's, but I really do want to get some manual hubs and this would also eliminate the Balljoint issue.
