Get the aftermarket 3 piece high flow unit, it's worth it. Especially with a bigger turbo, you should notice a little better spooling and lower egts. My 2 cents.

I never noticed any change on my 24v. Only reason I bought one was because the manifold split. I've heard they make more of a difference on a 12v, but from my experience with the 24v, I'll put my $450-600 to better use elsewhere.

I dont have one, but I plan on gettin one when I do compounds, biggest reason is cause Ive heard the 1 piece stock one is known to crack and warp.

If you have the money, go for it, other wise, maybe hold off.
On the othe hand, if you tearin into it to do studs and turbo, could do 3 piece mani at the same time.

01's and 02's have better stock manifolds than earlier years. Better metalurgy. Can't remember anyone having cracks.
I don't think the after markets make a big difference on 24v's. Not considering the price.

They are, however, stronger and do flow a bit better. If money if a consideration, I'd pass.
If you can afford it and plan to keep the CTD a long time, it's worth doing. Especially if planning twins with the extra weight.

I bgt the HTT manifold and like it very much.
From what I've seen they fit better than the ATS. Don't need as much working to get them lined up.
