so should I get rv275's or DD2's to go with the edge comp I'm going to install .........

I want to be able to shut off my comp and go back to stock mileage when cruising on the highway ........

how much do dd2's affect the mileage, I hear 275's are 1mog better than stock ....
Re:injectors again
There was another thread recently which generated a lot of discussion about this topic. Opinions will vary. But from my own experience I can tell you I lost .5 mpg when I installed my 275's, course my overhead computer thinks I picked up 2 mpg. Just recently I added an EZ and already I can tell my mileage is slightly better. Won't know for sure for another tank or two but it appears I picked up 1 - 1.5 so together I am 1 mpg ahead.

So pick your injectors and set your comp on EZ mode would be my recommendation when you want to run economically. ;D

Re:injectors again
Good mileage, good value. He did mention mileage as being important to him. That was my main reason for saying the DD1's.

The RV275 are fine as well, but after Lawrence gets done inspecting and and honing a set of injectors you get a quality product.

Of course a stage 1 or 2 injector would be like driving a stock truck for some of us

Re:injectors again
Oh sure, just when I thought I was starting to get a handle on the next bomb, EZ and RV 275's, someone pops up and interjects DD1's as a viable option to the 275s. Is the difference significant to notice, as in a noticeable hp difference, construction strength difference, etc or just a difference in manufacturing, noticeable mpg improvement. I'm not leaning towards the smoke 'em out cloud but more the towing machine mod's. Yes, I admit to a overwhelming desire to smoke a few of the ricers but reality says there are a few other diesels to pass on the hills of the Cascades ;D ;D

~Dave

" Smoke is good"

Especially for N Korean governments that break every treaty they sign with us.

After Lawrence gets finished inspecting the DD1's you can rest easy knowing that no fatal flaw is present. I personally have seen defects in factory new Bosch injectors that caused me to toss some of the components in the "circle file" It is very rare though, but like any mass produced components, things can slip through the cracks.

Don~
