Which Injectors?

I'm looking to get some aftermarket injectors. I don't want insane power or extreme black smoke and I also do not want to tear my tranny to bits. I tow 16K lbs. on a rare occassion. I just want some better milage and a little more boost. What should I get? Oh, and by the way the FASS system will be installed this weekend.

Is your truck a 12v or 24v?

In general, if you are going to pay the money and take the time to install injectors, buy the perfect injector for you the first time.

For mileage, I'd recommend Don M's 1.6 or so. You will feel the extra power and they supposedly give good mileage increases. I went the cheaper route with RV275s (24v) and barely felt an increase, but it did show up on the dyno. Now that I'm bored with it, I wish I would have went bigger. BTW, the RV275's really didn't show any noticeable mileage gain for me.

Jammer 3's would be a good fit and a lot of bang for the buck.

A RV275 injector will give you a nice punch with the comp. Don's Mach 1.6 are touted as being the ultimate towing injector.

My vote would be for Jammer 3's. Any bigger and you will need a turbo upgrade to get much more HP. You would have to tow on level 1 with your comp of course, but even RV's would get too hot on level two with the comp.

Ok, it's decided. The stage III Jammers will be going in on Saturday.
