Question Which injector size best for towing?

I'm looking at the Edge Jammer injectors and was wondering what hp size should I be looking for in an injector? What's the max hp size I could tow with? Any other injectors I should look at that are good quality? I haul a lot with this truck, so not really looking for race injectors or anything real extreme. Thanks for the help.

Best injector size for towing safety is stock. Best for towing power is a 200hp race injector. Obviously, you can't have both.

Jammers are decent, but look also a the Mach injectors and the DDP sticks. Keep it under 75hp to tow reasonably safely with the stock turbo.

I used to tow with 125 hp injectors and an hx-40 and it was awesome until I hit 4th gear and I couldn't see the pyrometer needle anymore. I had to glance at the road and stare at the pyro. One time I had a set of stock injectors in with a Van Aaken timing box and a hot torque enhancer and it was the easiest towing I have ever done. Flat ground grossing about 25k I would turn the hot box off and I would never even have to look at the pyro, hit a hill turn the fuel back on and it still wouldn't hit 1250 That was the last time I towed with my VP and if I do it again I would have stock injectors and a decent box, I would stay with what you have now

I'll keep all that into consideration, not looking at installing them until I've got a rebuilt tranny and a different turbo. Or at least the money for another turbo.

A different turbo will change everything. The turbo you choose will determine if you can tow with a 40hp injector or a 150hp injector.

Match the injectors to the turbo.

Ok, should I also get my truck dynoed before deciding a turbo as well? Are the turbos chosen by the hp output? Cause when I get one, I'm gonna be clueless as to which one to get.

Don't need the dyno... but it's good info and they are fun! Come on down to Alvarado, Tx on the 14th!

If towing over 7-8,000 lbs, I would stay around 100 hp injectors. Best I've seen for less smoke and lower egt's when towing are Mach 1.6's. Jammers will work ok.

With your auto (?) I would recommend a PS 62/12 with 100+/- hp injectors.

Which mach injectors work well with a HTT 62/13 SS and HRVP. Are Mach 4's close to 80 hp Jammer's egt wise???

I would not say F-1 injectors are THAT much cooler running..
They do, however, run an average of 50-75* cooler that others of the same hp... from my experience with the older DD'2 and Mach 2's.

Well, sounds good! I'll try to be there, depending on work schedule. I won't enter anything with my truck though, maybe next time.
