injector question

I am trying to decide which injectors to go with for my truck. Please check out the mods I have on my truck and let me know what you guys think. I am going to start to drag race my truck in the spring when the weather get warmer but I still need to be able to drive it when it get 40 below zero. Thanks for your time Garry

Do you want to go as far as studding the head and running nitrous with a big upgraded single turbo? Like low 12 second territory, or do you want an occasional racer. If you want occasional, get mach 4's or DDP 150 horse sticks and a 62/71/13 turbo. If you want full blown race truck, get a 66/71/14, studs, 2 stages of nitrous and mach 8's or ddp 250 horse sticks, but that will not be good for cold starts, nothing above 150 horse is going to be a good below zero starting injector.

That is what I want to do with my truck. I want to take to the strip once in awhile and race it but I don't want a full blown race truck. I still have to tow with it on occasion and be able to drive it everyday. Thanks for the info it was a great help. Thanks again Garry

my buddy and I put some stage 4 nozzles in a guys 24v, we even pop tested them and shimmed them to be as close to equal as possible, and his truck still had a lope to it. I think its just the nature of their nozzles.

Gotta chime in with a plug for DDP! You will be very happy with a set of their 4's. Lenny is a perfectionist and will not be happy until your happy.

Lotsa people very happy with their DDPs.

I've documented cold starts with my Mach 4s as low as -24F without being plugged in.

I think that's pretty impressive for a big injector. HOs seem to have a slight cold start advantage with the higher compression ratio.
