Looking at new bigger injectors. The place Im looking at sells injectors with 7 x .012 holes in them. Said they are bigger than what I got now. They dont tell you hp rating just the size. Any ideas on what to expect????

just me but if they can tell you the hp rateing i wouldnt go with them, they dont sound like they have been tested enoff to trust. is there a web site or something to look at? brand?

 

It was a used set at a diesel shop local to me. He said that they were around 175hp. Gave me hole sizes and said that the box said lightning injector on it. Only place I know that sells them is Scheid so.....

 

7x12 injectors are pretty big for street use, I believe all vendors should just tell you how many hole and how big of hole. 7x12 injectors from columbus diesel with a torque enhancer from Haisleys and a hx-40 made 450/1000 with enough fuel left over to have easily made another 100hp or so with a bigger charger, I wish I would have gotten my s-400 back from the machine shop for that run.

 

How would they do with comp turned down to 1 and my set up now??? WOULD IT BE STREETABLE????? Or do i just need to watch myself on the skinny pedal

 

When you get the injectors come on down to the CAVE and we'll slap them in.
