Injector question

Hi all,
A buddy of mine has a 96 auto with a 100 plate in it right now. He asked me if it would be possible for him to run a set of 435 injectors (somewhere around 125-150Hp), and still be able to keep egts in check on a stock turbo. And if his tranny will hold with just a VB from Goerends wich he already has. I told him I think so if, as long as we pull the plate back aways and readjust the starwheel, but I don't want to mess up his truck so if anybody has any input on this I'd appreciate it. dunno much about the 12 valves but im going to say no. he may get away with it if he is really really easy on it. my injectors are 130 hp with the stocker and i can get out of hand really fast.

OK thanks guys anybody else have an opinion? How runnable would my 370's be in his truck if I mysteriously ended up with the 435's or a set of custom injectors?

How would his truck do with laser cut DV's and stock injectors, worse than 435's or better EGT wise.

With laser cut DV's and stock injectors he should be a lot better off EGT wise than with the 435's!!! Not to knowledgeable on 12V's but it'd have to be better!!

Well...using my 175 pump, #100 plate, and stock injectors as an example THAT'S A LOT OF FUEL

BUT, if you pull the plate back all the way, he might be able to manage. Has he changed the timing yet??

Timing ahs been changed to 16, I told him just to wate until he get's air and tranny mods, but he's to impatient. Can any one recomend a proven setup that will wok for him, and gibe him decent power.

I dont see how bigger injectors work with a stock turbo... keeping egts in check. since the stock injectors and a turned up pump... make the egts go all to 1600 when pushing it!!

hey.. really, I have been waiting for you to put in the 435's you keep talking and talking about getting them... just like i do...

but, you have the air and the pump to feed them! cant wait to hear your dyno numbers going to 435s...

do you really need mo powr? jk... i know you got used to it!
