Injector Pump Mods ?
Look at all the mods ATS has for the injector pump. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...cons/icon6.gif
Cool

My dumb question is on a mechanical pump, when you add all those mechanical mods how does the "valet" switch work ? Anybody here used this setup with the high flow valves ? With all this would you want new injectors first or after you tweaked the pump ?

Valet switch
works by cutting off the fuel plate and fuel from the equation of power. All you run the truck on is Delivery valves and injectors, with the switch on, with it off, it runs full fuel and includes the plate in the power equation.
I have 370 injectors and delivery valves sittin on the shelf... Just aint put them in yet... I would go ahead and put the injectors in first to see what they do, then go with the delivery valves, but then again, the delivery valves will make a difference no matter what injector you run, so i guess it dont really matter..
Pump tweaking is basically messing with the AFC, the timing, the fuel plate, governer springs, and delivery valves.

Tex nailed it on the valet switch. See my sig for what I'm running. The valet switch is awsome. If it weren't on the truck the truck would be almost useless for pulling because of EGt reasons. With it on you can tow with not having to watch the Egt's just tooo closely. I don't think it really matters what order you do the mods. in. You can install the bigger injectors, but they will only get the amount of feul the stock DV's put out. If you install Dv's first you can only shove as much feul into the cylinder as the injectors will allow through. With both of them though you can shove huge amounts of fuel into the cylinders and make some really respectable numbers.
