Injector bores

after I got the head off and the injectors out I started cleaing it up a bit and inspecting it. Looks like the injectors have been worked on by a previous owner. In the block where the injector hole is there is a notch machined out to hold the injector ball thats located on the side of the injector body. Looks like it is just there to stop the injectors from rotating. Anyway, looks like someone gotched that notch up quite a bit. Almost like they tried removing the big hold down nut and not holding onto the injector itself. Looks like the hole injector rotated and that ball ground a new groove about 180 degrees around the hole. I hope this makes sense. Looks like it wont be a big deal because that groove is just there to keep the injector from rotating?? I would think with the hold down nut and both injector lines hooked up it shouldnt move any and wont be an issue?? 2 out of 6 injector holes are like this. I am new to 12 valves and just wanted to hear from someone who has more experience than I do. whatcha think??

It'll be fine, like you say the notch is there to keep the injector in line while removing and replacing the nut. Once you crank that nut down nothing is going anywhere.
