I have a PS 62-80 on my 02 with Mach 1.6, Comp and Smarty, I love it. I can get close to 1400 on a hard pull with the boxes on 5x5 & 8. Very driveable even on 1x1 & stock which is where it's at most of the time.

 

So if I want cool = Phat Shaft 62/14 and if I want spool = Phat Shaft 62/12. Am I saying this right??? What do you guys think od BD Twins??

 

Not exactly, the 62/12 will spoolup slightly faster and the 62/14 will cool slightly better @ WOT. But cooling just going down the road under normal driving will be cooler with the 62/12 unless you are very heavily fueled. There is a LOT more to picking the right turbo than which one will spool or cool better. its all about finding the right balance for your fueling level, performance desired, and how you use your truck.

go with the htb2 62/14 i just got it and did not feel that much turbo lag. lot cooler on the egts went from 1450 to 1250 max and a lot more top end on the highway.
