need to know what im getting into??

okay i have some more questions, i already posted a thread about how much hp you guys thought i would make, but i was reading on the 600-650hp 12v thread and it brought more questions to mind. my mods when totally done with truck will be....

-laser cut dvs
-435 injectors
-custom twins(s400 and upgrade hx35 with 60mm compressor and 12cm wastegated turbine
-#4 fuel plate
-home made valet switch(not for performance)
-4k rpm kit with 60lb springs
-marine head gasket .10 over
-12mm studs

with those mods will my stock lift pump work and how much timing should i give it??

Welllll, IMO one thing I will say is for that setup you are going to need like a 16cm non-WG'd housing on the HX35 and a 38mm-ish external wastegate. And you will probably also need an O-ring or Firering setup as well.... .02

so the 12cm wastegated housing aint gonna cut it huh. well i have my 18cm housing from my 1990 engine, will that work?? and i didn't have a shop close by for the o-ring and i really need to get my truck running again so i didn't wait and i put the engine back together.

hey, man. I agree you may need to o-ring the head or at least go with a marine gasket and studs. i think even the marine gasket/head studs aren't reliable past something like 50 lbs. youre going to have to keep the timing set fairly low with the stock head gasket- probably 15 or 16. -josh
