Sure. Back in the day, DD3s and a '40 was the standard setup.

the big problem with the 40 is that the shafts way to small and has a bad problem with breaking when you have a good fueled truck. alot of them are breaking when they over rev or someone backs out of the throttle fast. this is what i have read and understand . so take it as you want

I don't know if a PDR HX40 ever died, but I have beat on mine quite a bit anf have no problems. I think the HX40 gets a bad rap from the whole "Majestic Turbo" threads on TDR. There are like 40 HX40 variants, knowing which one to run is a good thing. Lots of the early failures where guys who did not know which one to run


Honn - I appear to have the "standard" setup for now.
Going to go with F1 4's and a smarty soon. Keep the comp for fun.
