How much power do you make?

Im curious, either estimated or dyno proven. Then of course the mods.

example.

power = 400/800
smoke= negligible/soso/ moderate/ look out
drivabilty= poor, good, couldn t be much better at all
weight you pull=

If you had it to do over again, would you just shoot higher instead of build up slowly and keep changing parts....

Re:How much power do you make?

I would like to say I'd hopefully be making between 375-400RWHP with my #10 all the way forward, but try finding a diesel capable dyno in Nashville! : :P >

I dunno what mine actually makes though, but it does smoke like a freight train with the rack stop removed!

Nice tailgater-deflector device! 8)

Re:How much power do you make?

Dyno'd 532.9 HP in April

Looks at Sig for mods. It smokes but not as bad as it once did with Piers new turbo. Now it is just a haze after 10 PSI.

Had to relearn how to drive it after the newest turbo. With this new PDR HX-50 if you are into the throttle to far it is really surgy once boost come on. With all this power tire life is bad but I wouldn't give anyup for just tires. I love the way my truck runs ;D 8) ;D ;D

Engine is stock except for 60 lb valve springs. Head has never been off 148K and run strong.

My TT is about 6800 lbs. And for short hauls a back hoe and trailer @ 11800lbs.

I started with just the 230 HP plate from TST and have moved to the HP that I am at now slowly. I have had alot of fun along the way and have learned alot. I wouldn't change the way I went.

Re:How much power do you make?

From everything that I have read I should be at about 230+ HP. Most of the equipment was on the truck when I bought it. My driveability has never been better. My pyro is at only 500* at 1800 rpm on level ground. I don't see much above 800* from 0-60 mph if I keep the boost under 8 psi.

Re:How much power do you make?

I would hope that I have 350+ with the things that I have done. I also started with just a TST number 6 plate and the addiction started there. I have learned a ton about these trucks since I started. My truck runs great but I still want some more power, but so does everyone else. Smokes pretty good untill the turbo catches up. I don't pull to much weight, just the occasional boat now and then but when I do it pulls great.

Re:How much power do you make?

Dodgeman01,

I hope so too but I was not sure. I read a lot on here about people who have close to the same set up as me but I am never sure. I don't have the TST plate in there any more. I ground on my stock plate so that I could slide it as far forward as possible and still be able to get the top back on. I was told that doing this was close to a zero plate but I am not sure. What kind of power do you think I am making. I can't wait to get my 4k kit. Thanks

Re:How much power do you make?

359 hp,869 tq at the last dyno day. i am fixing to blow up the stock hx35, i can get 45psi way to easy. the smoke is not to bad unless i stomp it below 1500 rpm. i need to just break down and put on a set of twins and a 0 plate. i have towed at 22k gross without any problems. but i do keep a eye on the pyro. i have enough fuel to melt it down. i need more air. mike
