Housing and DV's?

1. I upped to a 14cm turbine housing with full expectations of a change. There was no change in spoolup, and I can still peg my 35 psi gauge, so not much of a max psi change. Temps cooled down nicely though, cruising at 100mph uphill is 1050* . Sould I go to a 16cm housing? I would like to get cruising boost down for milage, and max boost down to a more efficient range.

2. I have access to the DV's from a 215hp pump. Would it be worth swapping? Are they big enough to make a difference? Also, does it even help without bigger injectors? Thanks in advance

They definately would fuel more even without injectors, it would definately heat it up like bigger injectors would though. And I don't think it'd help with lower your boost #'s, it's more fuel, just like a bigger injector, basically it's still giving you a more unrestricted fuel flow and more fuel = more boost. Prolly not the best thing to do if you're going for less boost and less EGT's.

Well you cant have your cake and eat it too. Looks like I'm going for more fuel, what else is there to do? Do you know what size the DV's would be? I was thinking 181's

yes, 181's are stock in the 215 pumps. and once you go for more fuel, you'll never go back

I don't think the auto's in '95 had the same DV's, but I was told that my '95 came stock w/ 181's, since it's a manual tranny. any truth to that?
