Hooking up Boost Gauge

Alright, so I need to know exactly where I need to hook the Boost gauge up at? I know in the intake manifold, but exactly how and where and stuff

Help!

Thanks.

Doesn't matter, the pressure is the same at any point in the "manifold" Mines in the middle and centered. Just want it to look good. Some body will post a pic of their 1st gen soon Im sure

I wish I had done the "boost-bolt" thing instead of drilling my manifold.

The only thing Autometer sent me was the little hose...like it would hook into a vaccum line or whatever? I know that isn't all I need, I'm a little confused?

Heard a few people have broken those 20 dollar boost bolts and not even halfway in....

I just took mine off, drilled the back side of it and stuck it back on. Took may 20 minutes.

Here's the place on a 12 valve. Injector lines and intake manifold have only been removed for clarity, no need to remove.

Many drill the manifold, but the boost bolt is quick and easy - Geno's garage has them...

No dont hook it to a vaccum line, or all you will read is how much vacuum your vacuum pump is putting out. And that wont even show up on a boost guage. You need to hook it somewhere on the intake manifold. Several suggestions have been give above.

That is exactly the same place I put mine. Plus I saved 20 bucks. I'm cheap.
