Hood scoops

cant get your e-mail and can't figure out this dang system to post them in the forum. I have a long set on my silver ctd, and have the mediums on my black 1/2 ton . Go with the larges, they look alot better, the manufactures say to go with the mediums, but they are to short! these can be had on e-bay for the right price, dont pay over 75 bucks shipping included!

I checked them out in your gallery and thought the ones on the black truck looked shorter.
I agree the long look better. Those will be the ones I go with. I seen a guy on ebay selling them painted in a base clear to match the color of the truck for $100. Seems it would cost that much to paint a set? Thanks for your time.

member hellotbone has scoops on his 02, but he cut holes and made them "functional."
He is just moving the air through the engine compartment, not into the intake.
At some point I am going to put on a new hood with either a cowl or hood scoop or both
, and try to come up with a way to make it functional.
