Holley Blue is in!

A friend sold me a Holley blue for 60 bucks, included where two regulators.

so i put it today on my 01. FP used to be at 12 psi idle, 5 psi WOT

now i put the Holley pump on the frame, running it alone (tank-holley-filter-inject pump) it makes 12 -13 psi idle and doesnt drop below 9 psi at WOT

am i safe now to put in a comp box or similar?

Stretch the spring a bit if you want a little more pressure. I get about 16 idle and 11-12 WOT with the same setup.

i have one..i replaced the spring with a small short piece of rubber hose(.316")...i think.
and i didnt put the regulator in...whatever it dont use its going to return.. so i seen no need for the regulator. i have 22 psi at idle and at WOT it never gets below 11psi with what im running.

where do u have them at?..i have one and it is on the frame right in front of the tank. i still have my lift pump and stock filter..i was wandering if 2 would be better but i wasnt sure where to place the second one to get it to help with the psi...but i think i might have a little bit more fuel going into the motor than you do..going of your signature anyways...do u have injectors or a box other than a smarty?...with my drag comp off it usually dont go any lower than 15 or so psi.

theres a big screw head near the intake (i think) side of the pump, take it out and stretch it. Then reinstall it.

Now if you'll stick a oem lift pump on there and run it with the holley blue you will have approx ~28 psi at idle and never below ~15 at WOT

How does that work? Wouldn't your pressure gauge read the pump with the most pressure and not compound the pressure like that? I assume that is what you're running, stock LP w/Holley blue? Thanks

acually its the opposite. Either pump by their selves will only do abotu 13~14 psi at idle. BUT when you combine them you get 26~28 at idle. So what ever you get with one pump, stick the other one on there and pressure (in theroy) will double

Yup. Holley blue with -8 line from the tank to injection pump. 15psi at idle and 11 at WOT with everything set on kill. All I have is the holley blue. No stock pump. I've got it mounted down on the frame by the transfer case. Biggest thing I did for mine to help pressures was take the bypass plunger out and sand it down with some emory paper and then sand the bore it rides in down. Makes the plunger slide a lot smoother and doesn't stick and cause low pressure.
