Mild-Moderate by some peoples std's but very effective

 

I'd do:

#100 plate full forward
370 injectors
191 DV's
SBC clutch

you can have a LOT of fun with all that and a 16 or 18cm housing on the stock turbo...

oh yeah, and be sure and advance the pump timing... those 160 pump motors are dogs...

Forgive my ignorance, I are a college gradiate, but what are 191 DV's??

 

DV = Delivery Valves...

the 191 is the number etched into the side of them... I'm guessing the 191's originally came on the 370 horse marine engines?

I think the 160 pump motors have 131 DV's or something like that... 215 pump motors have 181's.

when you go to a big injector like the 370's on a 160 pump, you'll often get a stumble that is cleared up with the bigger DV's.

What would you have to change if we put a #0 plate in. i geuss the stock turbo couldnt handle it? I am just getting in to 12 valves and i was wondering what is the most you can do for under $600. I want to put 3k springs in i know that.
