how high are your exaust gas temps getting, stock or with a box. I have a banks big hoss 75/190 and am getting ready to install and was just wondering how close i need to watch the pyro

this is on the 01 HO 6spd only mod sofar is an AFE. also how much will loosing the muffler help with EGTs?

Rebal, I am currently running a Banks Big Hoss with DD-3 injectors and can hit 1450 on the street. I would think that with your stock injectors you should be fine. I didn't know that the Big Hoss was only 75/190. Where did you find those numbers?

i can hit any temp on my pyro, up 1600. i run no muffler but stock exhaust size. i'm looking to make that 5" really soon. i think that will help when i'm in it longer. vs. shooting straight up thru the roof.

 

CTD Neil .. the box is pre programmed by banks for the power out put, i could have had it set for any HP TQ setting + or - up to 125 hp 290 TQ .thats what I was told
