Try this link high idler
I have one and it took me about 10 mins to install. All you need to do is remove the TPS (3 bolts) and plug it in. Then run the harness into the cab and you are done. Works great and I wouldn't be without it. Hope this helps

Enlighten me guys,

This is my first diesel pickup and I was going to make a high idle stick but wondered if it was safe on the engine. I know the book says not to let the truck idle at start up and I just could not figure out how to defrost the thing on a cold morning so I could see out the windows. Is that what you guys are using the stick for? Having just come from a gasser, this was the only setback with the diesel, I used to like to let the truck get warm early in the morning, and this thing takes forever to warm up driving it down the road, let alone idling in the driveway. What is the safe RPM to idle it at when it is just started and still cold?

CTDCAL.
Re:high idler
Morning,
My "high idle" stick is placed between the throttle pedal and the seat base about a minute after the oil pressure comes up. This gives me 1300-1400 rpm of idle speed to get the engine temps up quicker. I also leave the block heater plugged in until I'm ready to pull out as this further adds heat to the coolant reducing the warm-up time.

The block heater is a great way to quickly warm the cab. I've found that 3 hours works good into the single digits, and provides enough warmth to start some defrosting of the windshield immediately. The engine sounds better when started and the grid heaters cycle in maybe 5 seconds so it's easier on the batteries too. I think everyone would agree though that the best way to warm it up, is to drive it.
