if i get around 2500rpm's it will lose power and start poping and slowly climb to 3000rpm's then shift and do it again, it did not used to do it as bad and would only hang up for 1/2 second or so then rev out but now it hangs up for 2 or 3 seconds. i was thinking trans just wasent shifting but now i'm thinking gov spring adj or needs more fuel or both whit do you guys think.

 

Possible your timing slipped, or your fuel filter is plugged.

 

now that you say that it could be the prob thanks ill check that asap

 

Change your fuel filter, and replace the overlflow valve, or stretch the spring in it. It is more than likely a fuel delivery problem. When my fuel filter gets clogged mine starts cutting out about 2800rpm.
