High EGT's
I wish i didnt pay attention to them either. I really cant afford a meltdown though. I should just let er go, then tell the wife I NEED twins, p-pump, port and polish, ext, ext, ext.
High egt's are hard on valve seats and turbochargers. The rest of the motor will take the 1500 egt's under short periods of time. I ran mine up to 1500 mark lots of times, I just cracked a few heads and burnt out a turbo or two. The S364 might be a little big for an auto and twins. You might want a little smaller secondary, this depends on your converter stall rpm. If you have a high stall unit, you'll be ok, low stall not so good. The S475 turbo is pretty cheap, around $700 mark. You'll loose some intial spool-up with twins, but after the turbo start to move, you'll build boost pretty fast. Source automotive has home build kits so you can build up what you want to run. I have a set of garrett GT3788R over a S475 at home just getting fabbed up. I'm planning on putting them on a race 12v motor.
