You get what you pay for....in a word, no. Banks re-badges them for their "kit".....not very accurate, slower response time than others and they're not very "flashy". I had a set and wasn't the least bit impressed with them, so I sold 'em.
Spend your money on Autometers, Isspros or Pricols.

I had them & traded them for the autometers & they read as far as I can tell exactly the same, the hewitts I had were bought about 5 years ago & they are still doing fine today, & mine moved as fast as the autometers do, if all you want is a set of gauges to monitor your engine's performance, then go for them, if you like flashy, then go elsewhere, but I had really good luck with them, Dusty
I'm workin on them, I'm gettin rid of the truck, but I'll try & get some pics of the bed on it before it leaves, it looks really good, well in my opinion anyways, but I'll post some pics when I get a chance to take them, Dusty
I have a Hewitt mechanical FP gauge in my truck. It has never leaked, but the gauge itself seems of low quality. The light bulb melted the cheap plastic back.
No more Hewitt for me. I've had good results with my Autometer pyro and boost. When my pyro crapped out, AM upgraded me from an ultralight to an NV series FOR FREE!!
Good service, imo.
