i have a 2001 6bt. the model # is a B5.9C. i guess its a comercial motor. it says for off road use on the tag above the pump. it has what looks like a p-pump, its a little different than the pumps on the dodge pick up trucks. non intercooled. its on a ottawa 30 series yard truck, sams warehouse used it to haul trailers around their storage yard. does any body know about these engines, i really want to make a sled puller and this motor looks like the one. i cant figure out the pump by just looking @ it, i would like to know how to turn it up. i guess i will take pics tomorrow.

 

Some used a P3000 ( AG and equip )which is kinda like a p7100 ( used in dodge and other trucks) but dont use any of the performance parts for the p7100. If it is you may be better off to change the pump than to try to mod it. There is a guy with a AG inline pump motor and said he wishes he had a P7100 from the start. Just be sure of what you get. If the price is right then go for it.

 

yeah i paid $800 for the yard truck. the engine has a little miss and smokes white till it warms up, it has like 9K hours.
