Head Work

Just got my tranny rebuilt and was wanting to get some 150 hp injectors. What type of work should be done to the head gasket? Thanks

you won't need head work till you get a great big turbo or twins, you will have some egt problems with the stock turbo.

Do you have the head off? What other mods are you planning? I ask because this is a critical time depending on where you want to be.

I''ve got a drag box and am planning on getting a fass. The injectors might be all I do for a little while. I was planning on installing some new head bolts possibly.

IMO if you're ever going to consider twins or boost over 50psi I would put in studs and o-ring the head. If not I would at least put in studs, you can get ARP's from www.summitracing.com for about 425.00. They have at least twice the clamping force of regular head bolts.

you need a turbo worse than you need studs

wastegate it back to 43 psi and run it till she blows, then redo your head
