Head Lights

ANyone use the blue colerd Xenon bulbs in their rigs? I have gone thru two sets now and the highbeam element always burns out in the first couple months. Supposedly the bulbs are meant to be 120 watts but only draw like the stock 80 watt units. I am tired of changeing bulbs. I much prefer the blue (white technically I think) bulbs as they are much easier on the eyes at night (from behind them anyhow). I have tried the Sylvania Cool Blue lights but they are just not the same as the Xenon. Also I do not feel like spending $400 on projection lights like the newer rigs have. Any suggestions? What are you guys using.

Welcome to the world of blue bulbs!!!! Those dang things never last like a regular bulb will. I use to run them in every single truck or car I had, but I got tired of having to buy new ones all the time and switched back to the plain boring regular ones.

Best thing I did was switch to HIDs. Yea, they're pricey, but they are well worth it. Other vehicles headlights look like DRLs compared to mine.
