guage rattle
guage rattle
hey guys i have a isspro fuel pressure guage that is rattling
. Was trying to see what i could do to fix this issue. i have done a thread search and they are talking a little about some screw that you can turn to adjust i think it is the sensitivity of th guage and that supposedly makes it stop rattling. My guage is ran thru the isolator but i dont know where it is tapped into the fuel system. any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what to do since you have an isolator. On mine, it's tapped into the VP44 inlet through a needle valve and steel braided pressure line. Every few months mine will develop a rattle too. I have to close the needle valve, disconnect BOTH ends of my gauge line, and blow out the line. The pressure pulses that make the guage rattle travel very well through liquid (diesel fuel) but do not travel well at all through air.
Mine did the same, I turned the needle valve tighter, and locked the nut that holds the needle valve, the needle valve is barely on. Earlier I thought my gauge was bad and was going to replace it, but it worked for me.
If you want to know where its tapped into the fuel follow the line that's hooked to the gauge, its gotta come thru the firewall somewhere, most likely just below the hydro boost, as there is a grommet there
