guage question
guage question
On the trans temp guage do you have to hook up the ignition wire or can you just run the ground, sensor, and light wires?
What are the wires for on the exhaust guage that are labeled led illuminate? there is also wires for the light, which do you hook up?
I am try to save on the big bundle of wires coming out of the pod it is starting to look like a mess. For the light on all the guages I just jumped the hot and grounds together, is that what you all did also?

Shoe,
On mine there is a Key on 12V wired to the gauge, and then a 12V Dimmer for the gauge light iteslf, wire to the sensor, and the ground.
The led post on thr Pyro. gauge I wired to the keyed 12V, because the led, uses so little power, If wired to the dimmer you hardly see that it lights at all. Put them together and run a single wire to 12V keyed.
I also put all teh positives and neg. together. You aren't dealing with very much of a power draw.
