Guage question
I am about to purchase gauges from my 97 CTD 5-speed. I am planning on getting a 3 gauge pillar pod with an EGT and boost gauge for sure and was thinking of fuel pressure for the 3rd. Figured might as well get a 3 pod since the same price as 2 but not sure on 3rd gauge. Also I have read alot of good thing about the isspro EV gauges. I want a white/silver face gauge to match my dash gauges. Where is the best place to buy them? Thanks.

like the others said - you dont really need the fp guage.......id suggest an oil pressure gauge if you still want a third guage. If you plan on add HP - make sure you get the 60 psi boost guage.
You can get the Isspros directly from Isspro or from Wildcat Diesel (www.wildcatdiesel.com)

The ISSpro EV white faced fuel pressure gauge is back ordered 4 to 6 weeks from ISSpro. Also A fuel pressure gauge is an expensive gauge. I thought the EGT was high! I'm getting the Auto-meter Ultra Lites and the EGT is only $119 the fuel pressure is $229, the 60psi boost gauge is only $50 from Diesel Performance Parts which is a sponsor of this site. They are silver faced.

Isspro EV black face gauge with braided stainless steel line and shut off valve was right around $100 from Wildcat when I bought mine.

Amartinson, by the time I bought the gauge braided line and isolator I would have had $150 or $160 in it and the Auto-Meter is a 0-30psi instead of a 0-15psi. And Auto-meter says to not use fuel pressure gauge inside the vehicle without the isolator (I know this is for gas but that is what it said).

Since when does autometer have a 0-30 psi guage? What is the p/n?? Last time I checked they were either 0-15 psi or 0-100 psi. All the manufacturers will tell you not to run fuel into the cab, its a liability thing. Just like some shops will not mount tires any larger than what came on the vehicle.

Isspro EV white faced gauges are the way to go. I have them in my truck and would put nothing else in it, they look that good. If you go w/ em, you won't be disapointed, besides the wait.
