Well, I'm finally taking the time to install this 3,000 GSK kit, from pacbrake company. Have to say, its a little cloudy to understand the kit's instructions, if I need to Re-use the "Shims" behind the large outer "Original" spring. So for those of you who have installed your own, do I keep the original shims, behind the large original spring?

I have them in without the shims..but its not put together yet & I could add them..what would be the consequence if the lower two shims were not added..

Well I called the MFG company, & they said the "Two Shims" do go behind the large outer spring...so..back out & do it right!! ..lol

the instructions are confusing....
